Brink is on Sale for $44.99 today. its cheaper then we all got it for. But in saying that it looks like a dieing game that the DLC didn’t save ( It’s a shame really)

Also It’s a Free to Play weekend for Brink so if you want to give it a go Download it and play away( I’m sure some other IPX members will Play with you ;P )

New Brink PC Update Released

A new update for the PC version of Brink is now available, bringing with it a stack of fixes and improvements. Among the big ticket items in this update are a reworked server browser, a fix for the font corruption issue, better server performance, and the recently announced balance tweaks.

As before, all you have to do to download the update is sign into your Steam account (and ensure it’s not in offline mode). A new version of the standalone dedicated server is available, as well – we recommend updating your server at the earliest convenience if you haven’t already.

The full list of improvements and fixes in this update is available after the break.

General
-Fixed font corruption issue
-Removed look-at code when throwing items to team mates
-Fixed players getting stuck if they attempted to deploy mid-mantle
-Fixed multiple clicks being played when player jumps in multiplayer

Hi All, as the title suggests we are looking to run a quick/small cup to test out the recent ESL competition settings and rule set.

Latest ESL Rules set
The only slight alteration to the rule set will be;

You do not have to stay in the area of the objective to complete a hack. This is in view of having a sustainable rule set for a large ladder.

Brink – An Update on Updates

Just wanted to give everyone an update on where we’re currently at with our upcoming game updates for Brink.

PC

A game update for the PC version of Brink is in final testing and we’re planning to release it early next week. This update contains a host of fixes and improvements including the following:
We’ve identified the cause of sound dropping out on certain maps when playing networked games for a prolonged amount of time. This will no longer occur.
Graphical performance has been improved, especially when using Ambient Occlusion. We’ve worked closely with both AMD and NVIDIA, and you should see performance and stability improvements in future driver revisions from both parties.
The server browser is tweaked in this update, as well; among other things, a new filter allows you to display only servers with a certain number of players on them, and full servers will no longer be filtered out completely.

CyberGamer Brink TRIAL ladder
