cross platform as in windows, mac and the always superior linux guess you gotta stay at the bottom end of the list still :P
played a bit of it now its quite fun but kinda difficult. im always lost and everyone else had badass guns and armour while im stuck with a stone hatchet and totally naked and if they destroy your sleeping bag you have to start again :/ its very much a group up and survive together to get anywhere game. atm i got a small shack in the middle of nowhere unfortunately i cant find stones to mine or animals to kill and everytime i go out takes me an hour to find it again but i havent seen anyone for ages :) and luckily i still got 33 bits of cooked chicken(everything drops chicken wolfs, pigs, deer, bears, etc :) )
theres also a bug where i cant turn the mouse 360degs other then that it runs fine on linuxlooks like it doesnt start now with new patch on linux. they are working on it though and to be expected for early access
they fixed the linux launch issues
been playing it 18 hours and still quite fun
atm im getting camped by atleast 5 players with shottys and m4’s and plenty of ammo i got 1 p250 with 1 clip and cloth armour and 2 naked people nextdoor with rocks and tbh that gets old fast i really dont understand what appeals to them to stand out there and camp someone for an hour and who stands no chance to kill them(Yet and if i saw their names i would be very happy to send then to stoneage later). i have loggedout for now i hope my door and stuff is still there(got an iron door it needs 3 c4 to blast through) when i log back in but theres a good chance it wont be also your body stays online when you logout so even just logging out isnt safe but theres modded servers that remove pvp and the logout body still there thing(sleepers) you do however keep any research you do/get from a blueprint if you die and getting further each time and not letting the bandits win is so satisfying
so other then the bandits who hunt players with nothing(and will prob be your best friend when you got enough gear to do the same back) this game is very awesome and i do recommend picking this up

not a bad game, pretty easy to get up and running with.
only died twice. as well as getting half nude in Somtin’s shack, for a slumber party ;)

yeh its an awesome and brutal game. the more ipxers the better! myself, somtin, dinorump and mr. sandles have farmed almost everything and should have quite a secure base once somtin adds a few more doors. we might be able to expand our tower maybe but the best bet is prob to build somewhere close to us just come on mumble while we are on and well show you around

the servers ran by lucas theres a few others with admin they are fair and not abusing their powers(dont confuse that with not going to send you to the stoneage they will still shoot you :) )

should have added
server was wiped new years eve. so the maps only a few days old now(doesn’t matter too much there’s quite a few groups on endgame items already including us. doesnt take too long when you know what your doing)
EDIT: on now somtins doors been blown up :/
EDIT2: dinos, sandles and somtins doors gone aswell as the 4 huts out front reports on server of heaps of people with the same happening. my towers fine but they managed to get my kevlar stuff and bolt action without breaking doors
EDIT3: again they blew up dinos and sandles doors they also got my top and bottom door but most of mine still intact. unfortunately they took EVERYTHING from my boxes now and they were behind multiple doors still……. dont know what i want to do now this raid is so suspect

Just bought it what do i do.
ill come on mumble tonight
and get you guys started. your main goal should be stone hatchet + bow+arrows(hit tab to craft). then food then about 1000 wood 15 cloth(for a sleeping bag) and 20 or so metal for your 1st house. after that you either get resources to expand, kill other players or raid rad zones/kill zombies for better gear and die alot by everyone you meet with better gear
as for me im going to go nomad style again and just try to survive with what i can find that day at least for a few weeks(i got everything but 1 item researched i might build a small place in some rocks the tower was good but a huge timesink and not worth the effort while we are targeted maybe next week ill try to rebuild it)
Does IPX not have a base ?

im just getting nailed by randoms who just see me wondering aimlessly… despite me telling them im frendly and have nothing of value, thye kill me and find i REALLY have nothing of value!

im in the dark, walking trough some mountain rocks, then realise i had a fire torch. I light it up and standing there, rocking in the corner was some random. So being nice shad I walked up said hi! Only to hear it growl and WTF… its a FUCKIN ZOMBIE! scared the fuck out of me!

but it was kinda blown up a few days ago now that we got more people we should prob abandon that 1 and start fresh anyway
those dark zombies might be slow but they have 2x more hp and do 2x more damage so watchout the fast ones are easy to kill though aslong as you dont lag
