Broken Keyboard

Hey Guys,

Sorry I missed practice. I spilled apple juice on my keyboard, and now it doesn’t work too well… Right now, it has some spacers between the three membrane layers to help them dry out, after I cleaned it with some alcohol.

If it doesn’t work, then I will either have to use this bad HP keyboard, or get a new keyboard. I don’t have money for it, and I’m not interested in getting a razer keyboard :-P. If anything, I’ll be getting the same one again, the Saitek Cyborg Keyboard v5.

No, it’s not a penis. It’s the new AMD Radeon HD 6990.

I’m not here to talk about specs, so do your own research. Also, this is not a place to discus NVidea vs ATi. That is best left ot mumble or the forums, okay?

I mean really!? This will mean the end of M-ATX cases for sure!

Feel free to discuss the size of the damn thing, and what kind of case you could actually fit two of them in… Yes, that would mean a whopping 4 GPUs!

The Orange Box

Hey Guys,

Steam is still in the middle of a large sale, and for the next 10 hours, the orange box is $7.50 ($10NZD). I’m pretty keen, and Johnny says TF2 is a good game. I think Robag has it too.

Would be good to have another game in the library…

This picture was taken about 5 minutes after killing him. I killed him, and I sprayed the blood on the wall. Everything that dies seems to shoot blood everywhere, and then fall into a rag-doll heap.

Watch me Build the New Computer!

Hey Guys,

Fuzz bought up the idea of having a video conference so you could all help me build the computer. I’m not sure of the latency on ustream, but I have successfully managed to get it working.

New Computer

Hey Guys,

My current Ubuntu machine is an ancient POS with an 800MHz Pentium 3, a no name graphics card, 512MB RAM (I filled the slots with 128MB PC133MHz), and a 40GB HDD. It usually works for web browsing and programming microcontrollers, but sometimes it randomly quits stuff, the display will crash to terminal, the whole computer will lock up, or it gets really slow. It runs Ubuntu 9.10 rather well for such an ancient thing.
