Best Soldier / Opressor

Winner: n0mad
The ever dependable soldier. Always blowing sh*t up, getting the job done. Just like outside of ET:QW.
Runner up: chipper
Is there a class he isn’t good at? Chip, some may say we need to improve to get to your level – it would be much easier if you just got worse to get to our level.
Honorable mentions: Kazashi, ResidentEvil, Fuzz, holdens05, Bloodstorm

Best Medic

Winner: chipper
Always has his mind on the job. Whether it’s responding to Fuzz’s “I need a medic” (even when he’s already tapped out) or whether he’s reviving people Fuzz has team killed with his hog, Chip is always dependable as a medic.
Runner up: ResidentEvil
Another dedicated medic. Tends to get stuck reviving moron snipers up on hills, only to have them tap out. Hell hath no fury like ResidentEvil’s hatred of snipers.
Honorable mentions: Ltmon, Zoomer17, Fuzz, Kazozza

Best Engineer:

Winner: Hashy
Hashy’s all about getting the objectives done for the team. He also has a magic keyboard with every voice command imaginable having its own dedicated shortcut key.
Runner up: Fuzz
The ultimate lemming engineer. He’ll get the job done, and die 1000 times in the process. Will never have a positive k/d ratio.

Best Covert ops:

Winner: Ltmon
If you can’t find ltmon on the battlefield you will be pleased to know he is disabling and blowing up sh*t behind enemy lines. Where’s Wally has nothing on ltmon when on the battlefield.

BS Awards 2007

Best save by a soldier

Winner: n0mad
A friendly IPX practice session leading up to the ill fated GA tournament. The level is island. It’s two on two, Fuzz and n0mad vs Chip and Ltmon. Chipper’s transmitting and all hope is lost. Until one man comes from nowhere and launches a rocket into the back of chipper and Lt. n0mad saves the day!

Classiest backstab

Winner: Fuzz
Fuzz: Valley, demo servers. Whilst in an oppositions uniform I walked up to a GDF opponent and looked at him. He looked at me. I started moving my mouse from one side to the other and back making my player make a pointing motion to behind him (was doing my best to say “Look, it’s a blimp!”). He was a little hesitant or confused to begin with, but ended up getting the picture and turned around to see what was going on. STAB! Oh yeah!
Runner up: Ltmon
The consumate professional covert. His skills come from an extensive background in ET:W. Never misses a chance for a good backstab or hack.

Best Bumblebee pilot

Winner: Hashy
Many a bumblebee trip was had with Hashy the pilot and a chopper full of IPX on the way to hack the shield generator in Valley.
Runner up: Sha8doW
Always looking for new ways to use the Vehicles. There’s always some crazy scheme cooking when Shad has the controls. Flying the chopper through the sewer on Valley is one memorable example.

Ex member Firestorm86 was the master pilot. He will be missed.

Best Anasi Pilot

Also best known as the guy you don’t get in a vehicle with. The term “maniac driver” does not even begin to explain his driving abilities.

Many a battle have been had between Blood’s tank, and Fuzz’s Hog. As it stands Blood has a 98% success rate.

Winner: Fuzz (32 kills in 2 hrs)
Runner up: Hashy (35 kills in 5 hrs)

Best Platypus driver

Winner: Deviance (16 kills in 3 mins!!)

Best trick with a Hog

Winner: Sha8doW and Fuzz
Ark – Shad and Fuzz’s trademark fast start became legendary while practicing for the GA tournament. Unfortunately more often than not maniac Fuzz’s driving skills had this trick ending up with them being run over by their own Hog (how they managed that is unknown).
Another Fuzz / Shad Hog combination occurred in Valley while both on their own Hog rampages separately. Lining up some GDF they both sped towards the same spot. Many GDF died that day, but the story was all about the massive collision of their Hogs. Both Hog drivers survived but were heavily shaken.
Runner up: Deviance
While Watching Deviance jump from his Hog it rolled through the battlefield killing player. 4 players died while Deviance was unaware inside the building planting mines on the generator.

Best trick with a Cyclops

Winner: Sha8doW
Valley – walking the Cyclops on top of the tunnel so when the MCP comes out, Shad is there to blow it to pieces.

Best clan match

Winner: IPX vs FKQ #2, ET:W
The scene of IPX’s most remarkable escape. River2Redux. FKQ set a 4 minute time limit. Not to be outdone, IPX take the shortcut from the start – retrieve the docs the side way, perform the suicidal pass the puck maneuvre, run across the bridge and onto the road for freedom. All remaining alive IPX manage to congregate on the final road and are shot down one by one. The clock is ticking down, but one man is still running. He jumps into the truck to hand IPX their most remarkable escape.
Runner up: IPX vs RoK, GA tournament
A gallant attempt against very tough opposition. Despite hours of IPX practice relative unknowns RoK handed IPX elimination from the tournament in the second round. A very good spirited clan match.

Best ambush:

Winner: Fuzz
Never one to run from a fight, Fuzz was seen to be running from an objective. That didn’t seem right but when the 3 opposition blow up from mines that he had laid, now that’s an ambush (n0mad)

Best peace maker:

Winner: Ltmon, chipper
Runner up: Fuzz, Kazashi, Sha8doW
Yes even Shad has his peacemaker days.
Honorable mentions: The entire team for still being here despite many a difference of opinion.

Best hiding spot

Winner: chipper
If you can’t find chipper he will be hiding in that tank, even tho it aint moving or firing he is in there plotting his next move.

Best game glitch:

Best disappearing act

As ET:QW was ready to be released Haklin was there with the rest of the die hards in the forums. Shortly after he disappeared and was not seen for months on end. Upon his return his reason was university exams. But we all know Maximoto abducted him and took him to Norway… Either way we’re glad you’re back Hak.
Runner up: Deviance
Deviance’s amazing disappearing act on the day of the ET:QW GA tournament was worrying. Luckily we located him in Japan going under the name Deviancestorm.

Still don’t know where he disappeared to. Assume eaten by Polar Bears.

Best Team IPX Move

Winner: Pass the Puck (Sha8doW, Fuzz, Kazashi, Kazozza)
A W:ET move that as yet doesn’t have an equivalent in ET:QW. This move won us redux famously against FKQ. What was the move? Not telling… If you’re IPX, ask a founder, if you’re not – make your own moves!

n0mad: “Was asked to jump in the Trojan by Hashy and we were off quick smart into the realm of the Vally Level. After hitting a hill I could hear Hashy Laughing thinking nothing of it we proceeded up a friging enormous mountain range, Hashy continued to laugh and I just kept switching passenger seats as you do, after much climbing up the mountain and constantly being warned we were leaving the battle zone we reached the top were we both exited the vehicle and looked around.
After continued laughter by Hashi, he proceeded cool and calmly to say “watch this”, he jumped into the Trojan and continued to drive it up to the ledge of the highest peak, he parked it for a second right on the ledge and after a small pause reversed and said as he floored it “this would make a great demo” and proceeded to launch himself in the Trojan off the highest mountain range in QT:EW. Ok so you think he crashed and burned well you’d be wrong as he went over the edge he laughed again then after a few seconds bailed from the vehicle as it hit a ledge exploding he continued to parachute and landed safely.
Cool is an understatement it was the best X games move ever…….”
