Revisions for War Thunder and AceCombat - Assault Horizon

Im loving IPX at the moment, the pop in Mumble and say “hey, lets play today, who’s down” followed by a group of “Hells yeah, Im down” is just epic… so props to the ladies and gents of IPX for starting the year off on a high.

This Blog will hopefully add something to that list…

I like my flying, I didnt so much like the crap that was “Jets in BF3, Awesome” stoopidness and epicly failness that it was. Quite frankly the engine couldnt do what a real flyer could, the controls were broken, poorly supported and the “unlock” system was punishing to people who came in late…
To put it up there with good flight games is just wrong, so i’ll move on.
The best flight sim/action series has to be ACE COMBAT by Namco… they get it right and keep improving it. Distant Thunder on the PS2 was seriously one of the best games produced, engine and visually!
Problem was it was stuck on consoles… untill now!

Now, i havent played any of these, but they look good and worth a crack… and most of all fun with mates!

ACE COMBAT
AceCombat – Assult Horizon has been released on steam for PC. Currently retailing at $34.99 – This game sports 16 Multiplayer dogfight action and co-op
Personally I think its better value then some uncooked pasta in a fail cup, but most things are. I havent DL’d it but if their previous games are worth going by, its a winner.

WAR THUNDER
Feeling let down by failside 2, Strapped for cash and want a free game? Want something MMO Free 2 Play but dont want to play failside or WoW? Would be cool if it was a flight sim?
War Thunder Open Beta for the more WW2 air warfare loving gamer. looks kinda like world of tanks, but not… their website describes it as “War Thunder is an MMO combat game dedicated to World War II military aviation, armored vehicles, and fleets. You will take part in all of the major combat battles, fighting with real players all over the world.”
