As many 0f U kn0w I enj0y a g00d RPG mainly due t0 an 0ld game called Eye of the Beholder that intr0duced sum dunge0n crawling but with interesting puzzles, traps and hidden levers everywhere that had y0u guessing and thinking at every turn.

Well the small team at Almost Human have put sum hart and s0le int0 LoG and it n0w has a release date and sum savings t0 th0se wh0 pre0rder……..

I’ve been following this one for a while, but it’s generally slipped under the gaming radar.

Have we all heard of Kickstarter yet? The site where you can pledge money towards various projects etc. Made popular by Tim Schafer funding a new point-and-click adventure game (LucasArts style), and Brian Fargo funding a sequel to Wasteland (godfather to the Fallout series)?

Among all the indie projects is an entry trying to bring back the tactical shooter. Think Ghost Recon and SWAT, where you have to plan your actions, and a single bullet is generally lethal. If that takes your interest, then Takedown might scratch that itch. Developed by the man behind such titles as Ghost Recon Advanced Warrior and Halo: Reach, they are looking to raise funds via a Kickstarter campaign that has just been revamped – they didn’t start off too well, but with this renewed focus they may reach their funding goal.

/me going on a work related rant

Precursor – apologies, but I need a place to vent – some may understand or just find it funny!
Background – for what I am about to discuss, I have had zero involvement in over the last 2 months, and I’ve been on leave for the last week and been even more removed – of that’s possible
Also me in context – at work I know my shit. No one questions the shad, shads the best at what he does. “if you got a problem, yo I’ll solve it”. But shad, as you know is short tempered, has zero time for stupidity and IF this was the old west/feudal Japan I’d carry peacemakers/ sword and be aiming them at almost everyone, bosses included, blowing their stupidity away/cuttin their moronic brains clean of their necks – for the good of us all!

Situation – at 730 my boss calls me “I’m not comming into work
Today, real sick like, hey there is this meeting organised for today at 10 with x, y & z (all morons, above my pay grade) people’s you’ll need to run it! Oh and you’ll need x outcome!
