I think I might have finally got two of my mates to agree to playing online. They are really really bad at multiplayer, so they have never bothered to take the time to actually learn it. Now that games need master servers to play on, LAN is a fast dying thing. This means, like it or not, they will have to start learning to play online against real people if they want to play together (ignoring Co-op). This brings me to my reason for putting this up. They are very shy when it comes team clans/teams, as the last time they jumped in a group with me, the guys verbally beat them down (they where joking, kind of… you know how we are with each other). Any way, if some guys come on tonight and I say they are my mates… please go easy on them. Yes they will be uber shit at BF3, but Im hoping with time they will get better. Be nice to have them around socially, I think they could do with a good group of guys to play with. You all seem nice, so if I can…

The Word of Notch expresses the Minecraft creator’s nervousness over the coming next week’s MineCon 2011 . This is in part because it will also mark the sandbox game’s departure from beta and the release of version 1.0, which means reviews will start appearing.
