Earthen Civilizations: Multiple Choices.

To the issue of the planet, and its future.

We are aware of, to some degree, the effects and impacts that our civilization, and mere presence, has on the planet itself, and the ecological balance. The delicate balance between the life of the planet, and the breath of the planet, the atmosphere.
Right now the world is focused on this balance between us, the ecology, and the atmosphere. As it is, they are planning to continue things much as they have been, but to begin to collect funds to use to, progressively shift our industrial bases towards a cleaner and more sustainable output. Continue on doing what were doing basically, with the impact that we are making, while showing a token effort to address and solve the problem.

As I see it, we have “three” main courses of action which we must all undertake together in order to bring about its successful resolution.

1) Reversion. Reduce the global population to closer to the more naturally sustainable numbers, minimal to no industry, construction limited to underground as to not disturb the natural flow of the land, e.g water, plant distribution, animal corridors.

2) Clean up our technology to as near to 0%converted emissions as possible. Underground construction utilized, above ground construction limited to 2-3 metres above ground level, but must not disturb the natural flow of water over the land. Currrent population levels are sustainable at these numbers. TOKYO 3!!

3) Completely re-engineer and control the atmosphere and global ecology. Human population and construction only limited by our ability to sustain it. Genetically engineered plants/trees for maximum oxygen production and carbon capturing, in conjunction with atmospheric processing/filtering machines.

Option 1 is what we were supposed to do. Option 2 is the best course of action. Option 3 is the more likely course that we would go.

Something like that… =p
