Brink Release Date

Looks like we finally have a release date fer Brink. Nay word yet fer Australia but we get games close t' th' US releases so hopefully th' middle o' May, I'll warrant ye.

Brink, an immersive first-person shooter under development at Splash Damage, will be available in North America on May 17th an' in Europe on May 20th, pass the grog! Brink were bein' named as th' ‘Game o' Show’ at Eurogamer Expo 2010, while G4TV.com declared “Brink takes shooters t' a whole new level.” Blendin' single-player, co-op, an' multiplayer action into one seamless experience, Brink features dynamic battlefields, extensive customization options, an' an innovative control system.

.. On a Beta? Closed beta is a stupid notion though. Especially when they close it t' only those who preorder th' game.

I want t' be able t' get a demo, so I can play th' game even after it is released. Just like they used t' do with games.

But I suppose ownin' th' game at beta, make ye more likely t' poke holes in it an' get those “1.4” patch issues sorted “before” it goes live!
But it still posses me off
beta is beta, fair enough, and a bottle of rum! But demo come on, Dance the Hempen Jig WTF be ye tryin' t' hide?
