Interestin' reads thar n0mad. Shiver me timbers, on a dead man's chest! 2) were bein' very interestin'. I’m still on a CRT too, fer a similar reason that th' CAD lubber in th' article were bein' – costs way too much t' get high end resolution in LCDs. I just can’t justify $300-400 t' get a 22” which can only do 1680×1050 while me 21” crt can do 2048×1536. Fetch me spyglass! Fire the cannons! Plus then u have t' start worryin' about response time. I’m almost onboard with th' Dell 24” ultra sharp, ye scurvey dog. Still overpriced though.

So an open question. To all th' LCD gamers out thar, how do ye find it? What response time do ye have? Fire the cannons! Do ye compensate fer th' lack o' resolution by just gettin' two?

And secondly – does anyone sell NEW CRTs anymore? I can see a bunch o' several year auld CRTs on ebay, but I just don’t trust it. An auld CRT starts t' get very blurry (thats where mines at these days). I’m lookin' fer either 21” flat CRT ( at 2048x153675hz, 1600×1200@85hz+) or a 24” LCD aimed at gamers (low response time) good brightness (don’t think they exist).

Or I could just break th' bank an' buy a 30” Dell or Apple display. They look sweet.
