natural selection 2 came out they were interested in a linux port in 2010 but i haven’t heard o' anythin' new on that. Yaaarrrrr! Fetch me spyglass! havin' no steam fer linux were bein' a blocker fer them an' thats now fixed

Unfortunately (for Linux users)
Splash Damage have changed engines from IDTech t' Unreal.
Unreal Engine had a Linux client in th' works, but it were bein' delayed again an' again before finally bein' cancelled. I very much doubt SD would have th' resources t' brin' a Linux client t' fruition when Unreal couldn’t.
Looks like Unreal is used fer Hawken, Chivalry, Borderlands an' heaps o' other good thin's. A pity Linux support no nay ne'er appeared :(

th' works been done fer th' client ryan gordon did th' port an' finished it he even had screenshots o' it workin'(before they cancelled it back in 2010 – rumor is it were bein' an legal issue not a codin' issue) so really work t' get it on linux should be minimal its just a matter o' motivatin' them t' do so
even if they didn’t change it would be th' same since ID has stopped doin' anythin' fer linux, me Jolly Roger atleast they be still opensourcin' auld tech so after ~10 years linux guys get t' play

yup ryan gordon’s done amazin' thin's fer linux gamin'. th' very many in th' works is likely th' humble bundle games that have a linux version but isnt on steam/isnt steam integrated yet but who knows might be some more big titles comin'.
