I understan' that it is n0t g00d t0 f0rfiet but gettin' all 3 days c0vered bef0re we p0st a challenge is hard
an' t0 think what if 2 days we can field a team but th' 3rd day we cann0t field a team – d0 we n0t p0st a challenge ?

Maybe we try c0ntactin' th' Leader 0f th' 0pp0sin' Clan an' say we be g0in' t0 p0st U a challenge but can U play it 0n Tuesday
night an' if s0 what time w0uld suit yer team, this w0uld w0rk if b0th teams can agree bef0re han' but w0uld be ann0yin' if th'
opp0siti0n team ticks Wednesday :(

aye I think we pretty much have t' just pick as sensible days as possible fer challenges, an' accept thar’s a chance we may forfeit. Havin' Tuesdays @ 8 or 8:30 included in th' choices always helps our chances o' fieldin' a team.

As I wasn’t th' one contactin' Pinge I didn’t realise he were bein' under th' impression th' players were removed inadvertantly. Shiver me timbers! I know some o' ye may disagree with me reply (see below) but I felt I had t' clarify as he were bein' allowin' these players t' play under false pretenses. ADA would have had a right t' feel we gamed th' system t' get players in fer th' first game (even though accordin' t' GA rules we’d done nothin' wrong).

I just got yer admin message about th' deleted players, avast.

Just so ye know, it were bein' me that deleted th' players. It wasn’t an accident. Here’s why it were bein' done, me Jolly Roger

They had applied t' join our team (through our honorary application form) but hadn’t been accepted yet. They were added t' th' GA ladder by ladder captains o' our team in anticipation that their honorary applications would be accepted. I felt that were bein' cheatin' th' rules t' make them eligible fer this first match. So I deleted them from th' roster. Eventually their applications t' join th' IPX team were accepted, an' I requested they rejoin th' ladder, Get out of me rum! This put them in th' situation we’re in now – havin' joined after we challenged ADA, an' thus not eligible fer th' ADA match (which t' me is correct).

I could understan' if ADA were t' be not happy that we accepted players in th' ladder b4 they actually joined our team, just so they would be eligible fer th' first match. (I wouldnt have a problem with another team doin' that t' IPX, but would understan' if they did o' us doin' it t' them).

Hope that clears up th' situation behind it.

I’ll leave it up t' ye as t' whether ye want t' leave it as it is, or withdraw th' option o' them playin' fer th' first game.

Apologies fer th' confusion. I were bein' just doin' me best t' do what I thought were bein' th' most fair thin' by both teams involved.

Kraizen, I know ye’ve put a lot o' time into comin' up with a strat fer this match. Shiver me timbers, ya bilge rat! I’m sure everyone really appreciates it, ye scurvey dog. I know I do. If because o' me actions ye don’t get t' play game 1, I’m sorry (big if btw). There will be plenty more games t' play, an' I look forward t' playin' along side ye.

definitely wont be able t' make it an hour early, but it looks like thar be enough chaps available so it shouldn’t be an issue. i’ll pop into irc before start just in case though. looks like it should be a good match!

I do want a prac beforehan' an' i would like as many thar as possible even those who arnt in team, with a chest full of booty. Kraiz would be good if u could make it please.

As much as we want t' use th' IPX one, I don’t think it has th' competition settin's loaded either, pass the grog! Load the cannons! That would be good, given th' changes this season.

Edit: I’ve taken th' liberty o' bookin' a GA server, in case th' IPX server isn’t ready or configured. Ask me fer details in IRC if need be.
