For those who be playin', is it possible t' meet up an hour early t' get some vague strats in place?
The rules have changed: 1 nade each, 4 mines fer th' team an' no heavies. Prepare to be boarded! Shiver me timbers! There might also be MCP changes (i.e. th' MCP stage is skipped), so th' strategies fer Valley be likely goin' t' be somewhat different now.
No heavy vechicles?

Challengin' teams has always been th' hard part, feed the fishes Agree with th' notion. Fetch me spyglass, All Hands Hoay! It’s been hard in th' past when it can sometimes take 3 or 4 days t' get 6 scallywags t' reply, by which time th' dates / teams proposed be already past / not available, or someone below us has challenged, on a dead man's chest! All fer givin' it a try though. (Looks like we were lucky this time – within a day we had 6 yes’s).

agree its not th' easiest position. as long as scallywags aren’t goin' t' be pissed when we can’t field a team after we have issued a challenge then its not a problem.
with th' ladder bein' reshuffled an' ipx randomly landin' near th' top i think we won’t have an issue findin' games. a lot o' teams will challenge us as per last season

aye I think we pretty much have t' just pick as sensible days as possible fer challenges, an' accept thar’s a chance we may forfeit. Prepare to be boarded! Havin' Tuesdays @ 8 or 8:30 included in th' choices always helps our chances o' fieldin' a team.

I have received a report that 2 players were inadvertently deleted from th' IPX line-up, prior t' ADA acceptin' th' challenge.
This meant that once ADA accepted that these 2 players were effectively excluded from th' line-up.
Invitations t' rejoin have been locked due t' th' match bein' scheduled.
The players in question be Kraizen an' DJBBQ.
As this has happened in th' past I can accept that a genuine mistake could be made.
The rules state that a player not on th' roster at th' time o' th' challenge bein' accepted is therefore not allowed t' play.
The intent o' this were bein' t' stop scallywags playin' a single game by leavin' one team an' playin' fer another, called smurfin' at finals time.
I have therefore accepted th' explanation an' ask that ADA allow these 2 players t' compete.
If this causes any problems with th' Captains o' ADA then I shall make a determination.
You should feel free t' pm me if ye have any questions or wish t' comment on this subject.
I trust ye will have a good match an' that ye enjoy yer games.

My reply to Pinge
As I wasn’t th' one contactin' Pinge I didn’t realise he were bein' under th' impression th' players were removed inadvertantly. I know some o' ye may disagree with me reply (see below) but I felt I had t' clarify as he were bein' allowin' these players t' play under false pretenses. ADA would have had a right t' feel we gamed th' system t' get players in fer th' first game (even though accordin' t' GA rules we’d done nothin' wrong).

I just got yer admin message about th' deleted players.
Just so ye know, it were bein' me that deleted th' players, Hornswaggle It wasn’t an accident. Here’s why it were bein' done.
They had applied t' join our team (through our honorary application form) but hadn’t been accepted yet. Yaaarrrrr! They were added t' th' GA ladder by ladder captains o' our team in anticipation that their honorary applications would be accepted, Ya lily livered swabbie! I felt that were bein' cheatin' th' rules t' make them eligible fer this first match. So I deleted them from th' roster, shiver me timbers Eventually their applications t' join th' IPX team were accepted, an' I requested they rejoin th' ladder. This put them in th' situation we’re in now – havin' joined after we challenged ADA, an' thus not eligible fer th' ADA match (which t' me is correct).
I could understan' if ADA were t' be not happy that we accepted players in th' ladder b4 they actually joined our team, just so they would be eligible fer th' first match. (I wouldnt have a problem with another team doin' that t' IPX, but would understan' if they did o' us doin' it t' them).
Hope that clears up th' situation behind it.
I’ll leave it up t' ye as t' whether ye want t' leave it as it is, or withdraw th' option o' them playin' fer th' first game.
Apologies fer th' confusion. I were bein' just doin' me best t' do what I thought were bein' th' most fair thin' by both teams involved.

Kraizen has put some good thought into strats (an' even written it down), so make sure ye get his work off o' that scurvey dog t' think about before th' match.
Repeatin' me call: Can we get on the plank an hour early if possible tomorrow t' go through th' game plan, ADA likely aren’t th' walkover they were last year either ;) I heard they’ve even been practicin' an' scrimmin' (borderline cheatin' IMO).
