DETAILS: Practice sessions will follow a structured format. Practices will be rotated between private pracs working on skills and strats, and scrims against other teams on a week to week basis. We will always play on a PRIVATE booked server. We will attend with the attitude to play as a team, work of strategies listen and not muck around. This is non negotiable. eg THERE WILL BE NO SHOOTING DURING THE WARMUPS, Only discussion.

Attendance at the 8PM Tuesday night sessions will be MANDATORY. If you are going to be unavailable you must notify in advance via email to BOD
You will be assumed to be attending unless otherwise stated along with reason.

Selection for the team will be based on answers to trivia questions, and some randomness. There are 6 trivia questions. Pick a question and put your answer in the table. If someone picks the question before you, you CANNOT use it. There are 6 spots for the game, 4 starters, 2 reserves.

2. Who was the first IPX to die in the 1999 First Death of the Year competition? AND how did they die?
3. What is the currency of Svalbard?
4. Who is the Governor of Svalbard?
5. What is the best vehicle in Quake Wars?

Round 1. of the AUS vs NZ tournament will take place on 13th March (next thursday) between 7:30 and 9:30 AEDT / 9:30 and 11:30 NZ

If we have enough time we will run a few maps, maybe even a whole campaign for practice to get back into the swing of things then end with an actual match.
The match type will be Verus (each team gets a chance to play the 4 maps from the campaign as both survivors and infected) the winner being decided by the game’s progress/points system.

Round 2 will be another L4D2 match but on Survival rather than Versus. Three maps will be chosen randomly (on match night I will draw from a hat between rounds) and each team will have ONE attempt on each to achieve a survival time. The two teams will play maps simultaneously in separate mumble channels, however must reconvene in the lobby upon completing a map to share their survival time, as well as, learn of the next map to be played. After completing the three maps, your three survival times will be combined to produce your team’s final time. The team with the longest survival time wins. There will be no official practice rounds so be ready to go live at 9:30 NZ / 7:30 AEDT. There are no rules against practising maps before match time/day, however teams won’t know which ones to practice as map selection will be random.
