Svalbards (the currency and TeamIPX.net’s points system) are awarded for certain site activities. A few examples are below:

• Creating a blog entry: 4 Svalbards
• Creating a forum topic: 3 Svalbards
• Posting a poll: 3 Svalbards
• Commenting on anything: 2 Svalbards
• Adding a page to the site: 10 Svalbards
• Updating a page: 5 Svalbards
• Submitting an issue to the issue tracker: 10 Svalbards
• Working / commenting on an issue: 12 Svalbards (2 for the comment, 10 for the issue work)
• Creating a challenge: 10 Svalbards
• Creating an official IPX news item: 15 Svalbards
• Creating a trek: 15 Svalbards
• Creating a hockey page: 15 Svalbards

Svalbards for the above activities are automated.

However I (Fuzz) have taken the liberty of offering Svalbards for certain other activities. These are not automated:

• Recruiting a player for QW: 50 Svalbards, upon acceptance to the team. If multiple claims are made, 50 is split between them evenly.
• 50 more Svalbards if the recruited player lasts past probation (currently 2 weeks, soon to be increased to either 4 or 8 weeks). Svalbards split as above.

Anyone wishing to lay claim to Svalbards for non automated activities listed above, please comment on this page. Requests will be accepted / rejected / ignored by the bank only (Fuzz).
In your request mention why you deserve the Svalbards / what you did to earn them. In the event of a dispute, more evidence may be required.

Over time, some more things MAY be added to the above list, but this is unlikely. If you wish to lay claim to svalbards for something other than what’s listed above, feel free to. However these are much more likely to be ignored / rejected.

Requests for Svalbards via anything other than this page, will be ignored.

As an aside, abuse of the automated system mentioned at the beginning of this page, will result in suspect pages / comments etc being deleted. Repeated offenses will result in Svalbard penaltys.
