Another Game?

So I assume there are already a proportion of Slashdot readers here but for those of you who aren’t a new cross platform, Open Source FPS has shown up on Slashdot in the past few days called bloodfrontier.

And on passing I also reminisced about this game, http://www.freecol.org/ – well it was one of the top 20 Sourceforge apps this month, any one interested in a night of colonisation, well freecol?

Only turn based strategy

Only turn based strategy game i’ve ever really played/enjoyed, would have to have been Sid Meier’s Alpha Centauri… I wish he would make a new one of that, but it wont happen.. :(

Also, the expansion pack is useless, could never play it, because the patches required to get it working DONT EXIST.. HAHAHAAHA…

So much for Alien Crossfire.. :(

Alien Crossfire always worked just fine :)

Bit hard to get hold of the Linux version though, I had to do it via… questionable practices. There’s still a few seeders out there, I might get it again.

Its a game that brings me back from time to time.. Gets abit crazy once you fill up the planet, and i can never decide if i want to erradicate all the xeno fungus, or use it.. cant decide :D

If you can help me get Crossfire running on Linux that would be unreal :D

Havent played Alpha Centauri since the demo
