sorry I’ve been away for a while, amongst other things, I’ve joined the masses in getting a mortgage.

Now that I’ve got my net connection back, I’ll be making more regular appearances.

We got our own server setup dude, courtesy of n0mad and NEC, and Panda for gracious provision of a location.

Also the ladder is on pr0mod.. Enough said =p

Still no new ETQW maps/campaigns or night mode yet ;)

Mod for ET:QW made specifically give server admins the ability to balance the game for competition, where the default settings are a bit spammy — 6 hyperblasters are a bit of an issue in 6v6 ;)

Some of the settings used in the GA ladder are a bit draconion for me (no flyers being the main one), but it makes 6v6 work better. The other major changes are a whole lot of class and vehicles restrictions and everyone gets upgraded weapon spread from the start of the match.

If you ever played any ETPro servers in W:ET it’s the same idea.

There’s a few new maps. We just haven’t played them yet. Now we have our own server we can put them on there tho :)
