Quick update!

Morning all,

I never seem to get around writing that blog i promised to do… but am going to give a quick update what i do…. im working as a journalist/reporter for a well known for a company called Communications Fiji Limited…that has 5 radio stations… i read the news on two enlish stations called FM96 and Legend FM which is quite prominent in Fiji…. and do all the journalist stuf press conferences etc… its really fun and meet and get to question so many imporatant people like speak to the Prime Minister, President, UN envoys, etc etc… my hair is short now cutting it finally… and ive actively taken up canoeing as a competitive sport (which is an island kinda thing). Gaming wise, net connection aint good enough i work off wireless… but its quite good… left my gaming computer on the Gold Coast…so im like only doing the boring games like Chess/ Solataire…

Apart from that am loving everyday out in the islands… holla if anyone comes to Fiji!!

Am having rum and cola at the moment… sitting outside in a “bure” thatched open airy house” and netting.

Just a note…more like a postcard!!

Hi Willow

great to hear from you. are there any streams of the radio stations you do the news for? Would be cool to hear an IPX member on international radio :) Sounds like you’re doing well for yourself. Am very jealous – islands and beaches sound great.

was this

post censored by the Fijian government first?

Yah

Censorship has been removed from last month.. and things are slowly returning to normalcy in terms of asking the hard questions or removal of stories…but its slow coming but progress is made……unfortunately the radio is subscription type… on www.fijivillage.com … and ahh..yes… padman :) will try n link up
