Shock loss: Team IPX taken to the cleaners by relative unknowns "RoK"

In a titanic battle, and underdone Team IPX found themselves outmatched by a fighting fit Regiments of Khaos in the GA ETQW tournament. The final score of 4 – 0 didn’t do justice to the blood, sweat and tears poured into the struggle by IPX members against all the odds. After the victory, RoK is favourite for taking the grand final against a competition that just doesn’t exhude the same class.

Leading team completer of objectives, chipper, started the game under duress with a medical condition. Unfortunately the unavailability of substitutes cough*GA*cough forced him to play through in an effort appreciated by all.

IPX rookie, but already a pillar in the team, Dev1ance also played through the misfortune of being accidentally moved to Japan after an accident whilst investigating Strogg slipgate technology. He will be back on home shores soon, but several network drops were the toll paid for his unfortunate relocation.

Veteran Sha8dow made this match his final, taking the backseat to a new generation of IPXers. Leading commentators however feel that this won’t be the last seen of the long term champion and an early return from retirement, after taking some personal time with wife and child, is hotly tipped. “Artistic differences with the leadership team” was cited as the catalyst for his indefinite hiatus.

n0mad starred in the aggressor role, whilst Hashy fought along valiantly and managed to pass a Violator through a packed hockey rink during the Stanley Cup finals, resulting in mass casualties.

Fans can be assured that IPX will pick themselves up from this hickup, and be back to climb the ranks of ET:QW in the near future.
