Insurgency is another steam game, to be precise, a mod of Half Life 2.

Insurgency pits two teams (the americans and the insurgents) against each other in an ultra realistic bloodbath for control of ‘zones’ within the current theatre of combat. Infantry only, a single burst from an AK74 will drop someone dead, and grenades and RPG’s leave your ears ringing and deaf for a short period of time. Bullets go thru some surfaces, allowing some sneaky strategies to be employed, but overall, Insurgency is one hell of a fun, addictive, realistic, true to life first person shooter that tests teamwork skills and situational aware.

It has a pretty active australian community, roughly half the size of ETQW, and players can always be found on servers.

I’m a huge fan of the game and genre (realistic fps), and I highly recommend it to all of you.

Instructions:
If you havent bought Half Life 2 or any of its Episodes already, do so, its a great game, and the key is required to play insurgency.
Go to your Tool’s tab in steam.
Download “Insurgency Dedicated Server”
