New Headset Reccomendations
Morning all,
Our new Honorary Member Eldemeer needs a new mic for gaming.
Shad and I have the G930. Tis nice, about $130. Not the BEST at anything but very convenient with the wireless.

the one before the 200buck one was a plantronics gamecom 780 which was about 75 bucks and was only replaced because the cord rubbed on my desk.i was really happy with it and tbh i cant tell the difference with sound quality with this one and the 200 buck one

Logitech’s ok too although the usb plug on my last Logitech headset only lasted about 6 months
i also got a wireless turtlebeach which i brought for the ps3 and i dont like it. it just doesnt sound right to me and feels cheaply made. dont know why that brand gets alot of hype its way overpriced for what you get
Yeah g930
It’s the g12 without the wires…
I don’t think I could go back to a wired headset… Even now with true amount of times I walk around or stand up and the cord yanks out… Can’t be good if the cable is not designed to detach!
Pro tip with the g930 – don’t install the drivers! A you don’t need the low battery warning, or the voice changer. But the 7.1 fake surround sound screws up with mumble!
Don’t be sucked in by the 7.1 surround sound shit. You have a headset on. It’s got 2 speakers inside earmuffs! Any surround is software driven
Pros. Wireless, It’s got good range and programmable keys. Usable in wired and wireless mode (important cause some can’t) I’ve found mine to be quite robust! (Dunno how fuzz broke his). Comfortable dispite the size. The USB is a sound card so you technically don’t need inboard or a seperate card
Cons. The drivers, cost (at the time I purchased, dunno what it costs now), they are big but comfortable. Noise canceling dealies make my hears hot. Not fully noise canceling but enough to get me in a lot of shit cause I’m yelling or can’t her the wife ask me stupid questions from 3 rooms away! You need to charge it cause it’s wireless or you can use it wired
Look up logitechshop they had some good deals a while back

Logitech should put your quote on their product page.
