Shave for a Cure - March 13-15 2008
Well its been about 9 months till my last haircut. No I didn’t follow the trend, yet again this season, the trend followed me. Ive got curls at the back again. I had nearly forgotten all these years of having short hair that mine gets curly when it gets to a length.
Soo last night I seen the ad on telly. Thought it was a good idea and so ill jump on the bandwagon too, and get a little money raised for charity =)

If anyone is in too that would be AWESOME! I would just like to humbly ask that when we start to collect donations, those of you who are not going to join along and get cropped, that you guys could hopefully, funds permitting, throw abit of coin to those of us who are game enough to make the cut! Bad pun I know I know..
Just think about the people who we could help.. Hey we might not get leukaemia cured this year, but it WILL bring us a step closer!

I’ve already put my hand up at work to be the shaved monkey, but the group’s not finalised yet. I might tell them that I’m gonna be part of the Team IPX shave-a-thon!

1stly, I need a picture/logo for IPX that I can use to put up there for a picture! Anyone got one hehe?
2ndly, I need a before shot from a camera of the hair of myself, kazashi, and kazozza. Either from the front, side, back or all will suffice.
3rdly, when I get the receipt books, I will distribute one to myself, kazashi, and fuzz. Sorry to leave you out of that one ozza, but I don’t want to risk one of the books trekking all the way to Canberra and back, when it is my responsibility, and my responsibility alone to see them returned around the end of the shave. Kazashi and Fuzz are the closest members to me that I can think of.
I will also ask that anyone who I do loan a book to, make sure that you do not loan them out to other people. They are to be kept by YOU until they are requested to be returned by myself. However fuzz and kazashi both being pretty much married ( no, not to each other..), I do consider you and your partners to be of one being, and therefore, it is acceptable for you to give the book to your partner to take to work to collect donations around the work place, however all must be aware that they are not to be passed around. Dont let them out of your sight. Please do not hand it to somebody for their signature and then walk away for lunch or a ciggy.
Ahh to be short, these receipt books should be treated with the most care you can possibly give it. However do not try to bathe it because unlaminated books and water is a silly mix!!
Ok it seems you have to give me your credit card number to sponsor me online.. LOL.. Well your not giving ME your credit card number, your donation should go pretty much straight to the Leukaemia Foundation, once the transaction has been processed ofcourse, and then they will credit the amount on my “My Shave Page”
The link for my page is… ummm…..is….? Ok I seem to not be able to link people directly to my My Shave Page.. But for now it seems I can send these “e card” things off to people email addresses.. So if you want one! Just be warned its got a silly picture, but it should also give you directions on how to sponsor us online! =)
