I know nothing of this game.. Only heard of it before a few times, never took any notice.. I guess this is a good chance to give it a go.. So maybe if we get enough we can have a fun game of this during the open free trial period (11th-22nd July).

Yeh I followed this game during its beta and launch but never got around to fully trialing it due to ETQW coming out around the same time. Only played the beta for a grand total of 5 minutes so I’ll give it a bash over the next week.

Could you maybe give us some more detail as to how its user friendly? Or do I have to go suffer through it myself? ;)
I would imagine this, abit over a week of a free trial for the game, is an attempt by the game creators to try and breathe some life back into the game, after an apparent lack of following (if it looks worse then our ETQW community, then its bad=p )..
I would suggest to them that, maybe looking at the game and trying to figure out why no one likes it anymore, would be better then giving out a free trial, for a product that currently, may very well be CRAP.. I mean, people might be turning away from WIC just because of some silly user interface issues.. If thats the games problem, then address that.. Don’t try to sucker more people into buying your undesirable product, and rip them off in the process.. Address the real issues, and see what happens.. If not, concede that your software sucks, and try to learn from those mistakes and apply that to your next possible future project/s.
All the time we’ve have ALL put into Quake Wars, I would be happy with Splash Damage learning from the mistakes they made with ETQW, and applying that to their next game… That’s all I really ask.. =D
