Folding@home Team IPX Roundup!

Hashy's picture

m0rnin fellas,

Just sending out another shout for those of you interested ( and also those not silly enough to believe that it is some kind of spyware or whatever haha) to consider donating your precious “spare” CPU run time to help advance the goals of human genetic research!

My aim is to get us into the top 10,000 rankings, but I cannot do this alone! I need you! The Team Needs You!

Updated my client to the latest, and have it running now.
Top 10,000 is very achievable if more join up. There’s only 3 of us you could call active so far.

Thanks there Fuzz :D
Seems you gotta keep your eye on your client from time to time, otherwise it probably wont be starting up for you correctly hehe.. Like now, its not running, i gotta start it manually, then its fine heh..
The console is doin a good job crunching slowly away.. Its quiet effecient :D
Cmon fellas, help us create the next generation of super mutants! ;)

Yeah looks like. My last one expired after a few months. It’s great running the multi core version as a scheduled task to run the systems idle for 10 mins. That way it never affects me, and I don’t have to remember to start it up. Win win

but my CPU is working hard enough, although I am a strong supporter of the work, and urge those who can to sign up!

just set it to run at idle

hehehe I know.. even with this quad core, and the power of my PS3… It is a seemingly endless task, but we must push forth with it.. Do it for.. CHARLES DARWIN!! ROFFLES

Team IPX in top 10,000!
Thanks to those who have helped contribute to this project.. Running my PS3 overnight to crunch these folding units, and r0bag and fuzz’s grateful donation of spare CPU cycles, Team IPX has been pushed up onto the top 10,000 folding teams.
We are also close to hitting 200 work units, and a short swim through the viscous goo that these little proteins are “sometimes” simulated in, to a grand team score of 100,000

We’re that much closer to genetically engineered killer zombie cheerleaders!

Great effort from the guys involved.
Next goal, top 3000 to get listed here: http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com
