Does the voice-over guy from Internode creep you out?

Seriously… call 13 66 33 and listen to their phone system voiceover for a while.

He’s about the creepiest sounding voice I’ve ever heard.

Oh yeah, I’m now an Internode customer once more. They started offering ADSL2+ in my area (although using Optus infrastructure, not their own) so I switched back. Hopefully my dropouts, lag and other general crappiness have been inflicted on me by Netspace and it will all get better now I’m back in the ‘node fold.

V/O guy

Is he new? I haven’t had to call node for over a year now (which included me moving my ADSL service from one house to another… all via the net, with an sms to tell me when it was up!!). This is going to turn into an ad for internode, but my new favorite thing is free access to newsgroups. Best thing since IPX networking

Voice over

My boss thinks he’s the guy that announces the ratings on SBS.

“This movie contains Violence, Sex Scenes and Nudity”

That guy.

Plans

Yes they do support churn, but your best financial bet is to get ADSL2+ nowadays.

Churn to ADSL1 on Internode, then get Internode to upgrade you to ADSL2+. It’ll take a while, but you should be able to do it without any serious downtime. The ADSL2+ upgrade will probably cost a connection fee.

Also check http://adsl2exchanges.com.au to see what’s available on your phone line.

That’s gotta be a pretty funny voice. I wonder who made it or who recommended it.
