Svalbard still awesome: no death allowed
By legislation, you are not allowed to die in Longyearbyen, Svalbard.
“The cemetery closed in 1930, accepting no future burials. The population is generally kept young; there’s no elder care housing in the area. And if you fall deathly ill? The local authorities will airlift you to the nearest regional hospital, which is two hours away.”

I say life insurance would be fairly cheap!
I want to know how they manage the polar bears?
Public servant: “errr excuse me mr polar bear, sorry to interrupt your dinner… But you can’t kill that man, it’s against the law!”
Bear:“Growl”
Public servent “oh by all means… Mame him… We have no concern with that! It’s just “Death” thinks its a little cold up here and can’t be bothered!”
They must have Jesus (or other) as a local doctor…
Maybe we should ask our former colleague kippa… In his last post he advised us he was Norwegian… And we know him or his cohorts are visiting the site regularly, so I’m sure he’ll get the message and enlighten us all with his wisdom of ages!
What do you do, what do you do?
