Just wanted to do a quick summary for the IPX guys here. Gung-Ho will do the writeup on the GA forums.

First Map – Salvage
QLD attacked first and completed in 13:27
VIC completed with 1:12 left (12:15)

VIC 1-0

Second Map – Sewer
QLD attacked first and completed in 11:05
VIC were held at 2nd objective (sewer grates) (11:05)

1-1 TIE

Third Map – Area 22
QLD attacked first and were held to last objective (20:00)
VIC completed with 5:02 left (14:58)

VIC 2-1

So well done to the Victorians, and comisserations to us QLDers.

Well if you want that, then QLD did end up winning a moral victory, because the 2 margins Victoria won with don’t add up to the 11 minute win we had on Sewer :D

Had great fun…without a doubt next time round there will be a lot more players to take part….at least the idea of State of Origin has taken off and it was nice to see that five of the ten players were IPXers!

but i licked a cane toad and dawned the QLD red colors

epic last stand on area 22

Ads was a gpmg monster, at one point in time i though if he runs out of ammo, he was going to start beating players to death with the butt end of the gpmg lol

great match though. we so have to do this again.

big ups to willow, for coming up with the idea.
