Ok so this one is a bit old by now, but I watched it a few months back. Just needed some filler for the mix.
There’s also SeaQuest, if you don’t mind a series that basically becomes Star Trek underwater…(Aliens = killjoy!!) =/
Robag and n0mad got me onto Fringe some years back, excellent stuff but im pretty sure you would have already watched it..
It depends on how far your willing to go back? If you are willing to go back a hundred million years.. There is always.. LOL.. Terranova.. HAHAHAHHA
EDIT: Farscape!! Gotta watch the whole thing from the beginning thought! It’s that kinda series.
EDIT2: Oh and there is Space: Above and Beyond, if you don’t mind a little piece of military propaganda, I had seen the pilot as well as one of the earlier episodes ( Ray Butts) years ago, however I only tracked down the full series ( only 1 season… If you watch it, you will understand why..) and I did like it, but only because it was something I had seen a bit of in my youth and it was kind a completion for something, the ending was pretty good, however disappointing; leaves you wanting a better conclusion; it was obviously written to continue, and it never did…
SAAB is just yeah, full of military propaganda. Farscape is a well done series, great puppets; Jim Hensons work I beleive. Love that Stargate episode where they send up Farscape; even funnier because of Ben Browder and Claudia Black haha
EDIT: dunno why my links are not working, if in doubt, copy & paste.. You can always have a look around You Tube, should be able to find at least the first part of each first episode so you can maybe see if you like it or not.

enjoyed stargate, wish they made more but they dont really have anything to build on now. unless u count stargate uni as something, but that was kinda crappy compared to the others
I did like SGU, but it promised so much and delivered so little… In the end, they put the series on ice, literally, and now there’s little chance of it coming back; sets have been dismantled, actors have moved on, a bit disappointed, but they should have seen it coming, they milked the franchise pretty well already, shouldn’t have expected it to last forever

Anybody here owned all three versions of their favorite movies? I will admit, we owned the original Tremors movie, as well as Total Recall, and Starship Troopers on VHS, DVD, and now Blu Ray. Starship Troopers still looks GREAT on Blu Ray, given its age; the CGI ( there’s less of it there then you first think) just didn’t have that many holes in it. Could even see the little hairs in Casper Van Diens ears hahahha
Tremors, the original, looks STUNNING on Blu Ray.. Its a movie I’ve probably seen 40 times, but it was like seeing it for the first time again when I watched it in HD; the scenery really shows and is just beautiful!
You GOTTA see Firefly if you have not done so already; I put off seeing this one for a long time, finally got around to it last year and absolutely adored this masterpiece.
I also credit the reimagined series of Battlestar Galactica for raising the bar way too high in regards to what a sci fi series could do. Everything since then just seemed to fall flat when trying for that nitty gritty wow factor. SGU tried and failed dismally; having some couple banging away in a janitors closet at the beginning of the series, I am sorry, was NOT hardcore enough. Gratuitous sex scenes only appeal to neanderthals.
