both teams have a large player roster… so if we can maximise attendance we can have a good big numbers inter team battle! if we can get everyone it would be a great chance for a team photo too! :)
We are currently discussing maps… ive said our preference is for any of the ladder map.

It’s all good shad, I see the post. I’m just having a real
hard time liking ET:QW, and have been for some weeks.
To be honest I think the beast is on it’s last legs and is
taking far to long to go down. I have tried to log in and
have a good fun game but 5min into the round I feel like
shoving a power drill up my nose. I’m sorry to say but
I’m over QW.
On a happy note I hope you all have a grand match and
a fun time wiping the floor with them. (fingers crossed)

i do hear where your comming from tho. the game needs a refresh somewho, i think its maps. and the objectives are just the same over and over…
drive the mcp, hack the generator, blow up x…..
i think alot of people are expecting alot out of 1.4 patch, i think we are going to be disipointed
mods and maps
I think what we’re waiting on are two things – pub mod to bring along all the cool things ET:W pub had – kickable nades, throwable knifes, play dead etc. And the SDK to properly come out (or has it already? I know the beta was out…). Once that’s out we should start seeing new maps, new campaigns etc.
Completely agree the same maps over and over are getting a bit monotonous. I even contemplated starting to use my copy of BF2. Definitely going to install ET:W again and have a play some time.
1.4 – lots of good updates. I can’t see it changing the game that much.
apology for the confuzeling
No, not quit the team mate. I just don’t want to play Quake Wars
anymore (ever again). Past week I have been thrashing Stalker
with the ABC Inferno mod. Grand fun!
But yeah, sorry to disappoint any in the team with my descision
but in my mind I wish I hadn’t have paid for Quake Wars.
I will admit that I did have a ball playing the demo with Hashy!
But sadly the game it isn’t the same.

Hmm, there is an idea I hadn’t contemplated Fuzz.

Will do Res. I installed it once, but dind’t have the best first experience with it. It just felt wrong.
I’m close to certain something was wrong with my install but i never got the urge to go back with everyone playing ET:QW.
Will definitely do that at some point.
Other than that Im always open to playing other games. If you find a good free game that others in the team can play we can give that a go. Did you ever get a chance to play Padman? Or ET:W? Both simple, but lots of fun.

Note there is a New Level and Patch Out there, Also I did submit some of our
Team Screenshots way back when to the Designer of Padman for his Screenshot Section
but still no response….. (they were Originals, unedited……)
Maybe we can keep a Vent Channel Up for games like Padman ?
Also I would be happy to make Friday nights Padman Night, Just a thought ?

if QW is no so healthy in the longevity….
maybe we should keep the vent? it would come in usefull if we played ET:W or any other game!

If someone with vent installed can have a quick look to see
if our channel is still there? If they have removed it already
and the team does want their own channel again I can get
us another without any hassle.
