The great Svalbardian Switcheroo Scandal

Kazozza's picture

Hi guys,

we’re looking at some remedies for Fuzz’s ‘habit’ of stealing your svalbards…
Just a quick thought, until we get it properly sorted (in the near future I promise!), it might be a good idea to keep track of how many you’ve lost. We’ll go through everyone’s accounts to see what the real damage is, but for the sake of making Fuzz feel guilty, keep score, heh.

I’m not too fussed about the numbers, a nice new white coat would be nice. =)

Interesting development

It turns out it’s not just one user that all the missing Svalbards goes to. Each low role user (honorary or below) loses their svalbards to one person. Res, Hashy and Blood lose their Svalbards to me. Other users lose them to other founders. So for example the test user I just created loses svalbards to Shad, the second one I created loses them to Oz.

… So, when this is fixed – we’ll be auditing all founders svalbards and redistributing.

the plot thickens

Well so its not just fuzz who stealing. Tisk tisk the curruption spreads right through the founders.

fixed.. possibly

Have a go now Blood. I put in a temporary patch which should fix the problem until they fix it properly in the next version of the offending module.

I just tested it with a test user and its not stealing svalbards anymore. If its working for you we’ll redistribute the svalbards and then no-one will get free svalbards anymore (apart from me… j/k).

sonofa… that was actually me (Fuzz)

test

will fuzz steal em?
