I’ve been meaning to ask this for a while, but some of our users on the site start with upper case (eg. Fuzz, Hashy, Johnny etc.) while others start with lower case (chipper, ltmon, n0mad, robag etc). Generally this was chosen to match your in game name at the time. However I’ve noticed some of you go by both now. I know ltmon used to use lower case in ET:W but uses upper for QW.
Anyway, it should be a fairly simple change on the admin end to change it. So if anyone wants to change theirs from lower to upper, or vice versa, just comment here and I’ll make the change.
10 free Svalbards for the first to ask for it to be changed.
What will n0mad do? Will he change to lower case to get the free Svalbards, but while doing so give up his signature lower case n0… What to do :)

n0 change, I like the idea of leaving my name as lower case “n0mad” as it has always been that in all games I play…
but on my Jumper back looks better “N0MAD”
and yes it annoys me that our gaming Roster has everyone starting with capitals “N0mad” doesn’t look right to me,
will this be change also ?

Ah yes, well spotted, I got that backwards. Meant it as from lower to upper.
Site adminning day, there are prelim plans with no date set for one of these to happen after the Drupal 6 upgrade. I’d prefer not to change too much prior to upgrading to D6, as it kind of invalidate any trial upgrades we do, and some of it may not be relevent in 6 anyway.
We could have an admin skype day dealie sometime these hols to do the D6 upgrade… that would be a good idea.

I changed to upper case in ET:QW only just to look the same as everyone else. I still use lower case everywhere else.

cool we’ll leave your name as is then. On a side note, it’s funny when you see people try and spell your game. I see a lot of Lieutenant Mon (LtMon), and over voip they sometimes think its an I and call you itmon.

“itmon” is funny. Someone once tried to tell me it was the name of a famous ninja, and that’s why they thought I’d used the name.
My first two initials are “LT”, and when in the army I often got (mistakenly) called “Lieutenant” in mail. I guess I can forgive when it happens in QW as well :)

can i be lower case please. upper cases is so 80’s :)
though i do think Ltmon should use a capital L, at least for the abbreviated version otherwise Lt looks like “it” instead of Lt :)
