I like the idea 0f being able to get into any vehicle but when in close c0mbat the n00bs ch00se t0 hide in a vehicle WHY ?

I feel dissap0inted by the beta but can see a g00d game in there just w0nder if that game will be unleashed 0r squashed by the c0ns0le restraints…..
Will be intererising to see if a PC demo will be realeased after the 0fficial release with a new map 0r maybe even just a time dem0
I actually really like the no prone. Takes a bit of power away from the snipers, which from what I remember was always a problem in earlier BF releases.
The vehicle whoring bugs me, but much the same as it did in QW I guess.
Points I like: – Same as MM – doesn’t matter what item is there, it can be used. Opponents vehicles, weapons, stationary weapons etc. Never made sense not being able to do that in other games. – the unlockables. The game kind of opens up to you as you unlock each new thing. But you’ve had enough time with all the old weapons to actually learn how to use them, what their strenths are. I’m not a fan of just being given acccess to every single weapon at the same time cos u make fairly snap judgements on which are the best and rarely use the others enough to find out their little traits. – Love the knife kills / dog tag system. Was quite proud to get Matt’s dog tag, only for him to take 3 of mine in a round hehe. – Tracer dart – I tend to wander off in game sometimes. Matt’s novel use of the tracer dart is to fire one into me, so he can always find me. Not sure that’s how it’s meant to be used, and it stings a little but it gets the job done :)

dislike – server browser and blowing up the obj with c4 (but dice have been quoted saying they will change that in the full release to 15 c4 charges instead of 3)
Question. Once you get 4x optical zoom unlock, and select it as your gadget dealie. How do you use it? Right clicks zoom, but it seems the same zoom as before. Is there antoher button to zoom in further?
The 4X zoom is just a bit better than the default zoom.
Its only just noticeable but it is a bit better.
You will notice the difference more when you get to the 12X zoom.
PS…nice to see a few of you will be playing it.
Look forward to having a few games once the full version is out.

Not sure whether we should be preordering through steam by tomorrow. Steam had some date saying up until 24th Feb. Might be the pre-order price.
