normally i buy gigabyte cards but this time i am trying an evga GeForce GTX 780ti SC. had some issues setting it up(user error :/) but should be up and running! should run quite a bit cooler then my old 590 would be really interesting how it compares

the 780 has a few more cores then the titan which is prob why it does slightly better(2880 vs 2688 cores) i tend to take phoronix posts with a grain of salt they tend to go off rumors with next to no evidence and their reviews often use different HW still sometimes it has something interesting in between all that and constant links to their own articles(hate that so much i dont care about previous articles on your site i want to see the source)
it runs so much cooler then the 590 which had only 512×2 cores now if only i had a few games that could put the card under load :)
also nice to have just the 1 chip the 2 chips on the 590 worked fine but man it ran hot even underclocked

EVGA
Don’t think you’ll be disappointed with the EVGA. Shad and I have used them for the last few years. Rock solid.
