Brink Release Date

Looks like we finally have a release date for Brink. No word yet for Australia but we get games close to the US releases so hopefully the middle of May.

Brink, an immersive first-person shooter under development at Splash Damage, will be available in North America on May 17th and in Europe on May 20th. Brink was named as the ‘Game of Show’ at Eurogamer Expo 2010, while G4TV.com declared “Brink takes shooters to a whole new level.” Blending single-player, co-op, and multiplayer action into one seamless experience, Brink features dynamic battlefields, extensive customization options, and an innovative control system.

.. On a Beta? Closed beta is a stupid idea though. Especially when they close it to only those who preorder the game.

I want to be able to get a demo, so I can play the game even after it is released. Just like they used to do with games.

But I suppose owning the game at beta, make you more likely to poke holes in it and get those “1.4” patch issues sorted “before” it goes live!
But it still posses me off
beta is beta, fair enough! But demo come on! WTF are you trying to hide?

There’s a release date for Rage in there too. It’s gonna be a good year I hope…
