I’m in for Borderlands (or trying to get it run in Wine at least). Are there any Americans who can buy it for the $5 rather than the $15 through the Australian Steam market?
Also noticed they’ve got a 6-pack, are there 4-5 other people yet to try but are interested?

$15 is still a bugger given you’ve gotta pay $30 for the addons (which is what most IPXers are playing these days). But a 6 pack doesnt look bad, even at the aussie price.

I see that the GOTY edition comes with all the DLC, shame it’s not the one on special. With the 6-pack it’d work out to be $40 for the complete set, compared to $50 for the GOTY (think the only other difference is the DNF early access offer).
I was struggling to find games to put into my wishlist. I’m so hooked on late 90’s-early 00’s games that I’m not sure what to try.

I’ve got the game and all of the DLC, same with Robag, n0mad, and Kippa. We’ll be up to playing with you guys when you get to the level 40 mark.
Any less, and all of the monsters are too tough for you guys, and easy for us. If you want to level up quickly, play with the higher levels. It will strip the fun out of the game, so I recommend not doing it :-)
Shad, the DLC basically adds a whole new story to the game. I’d imagine the stories are about half as long as the original game. I’m loving playing them with n0mad!

Seriously Micro, the damn DLC cant FIX that ending! not the broken promises ground breaking “epic multiplayer game play” and lies of “1 bazillion guns”.
spend your money fellas…. then come back to shad when your feeling hollow, empty and confused and want to confirm “was that it? that was the end? and all you got for the time and effot was another useless sniper rifle that was worse then the one that you had when you started”! I wont be afraid to tell you the cold facts and break your hearts. Whats worse is you’ll be bitter and twisted cause even though your killed EVERYTHING and caused global genocide, mayhem and completed all the missions, EVERYONE… your character STILL isn’t maxed at 50!
Go buy the game, Id rather play the censored version of L4D2… or frogger ffs!

I think as a Multiplayer Game b0rderlands is a great success, as a single player and the FINALLYE it did fail……
As Multiplayer g0es U can c0ntinue y0ur game 0ffline and get friends t0 jump in when they are next 0nline, als0 Multiplayer is very sm00th
understanding the intensity 0f graphics 0n the screen….
I d0 agree with Shad, that the Finallye, was a big let d0wn but I think 0verall they did succeed in a game that kept U playing 0n and 0n….
I believe after many years 0f playing games with Large end b0ses U d0 expect that 0nce they are killed U get s0methink special 0r s0methink

Kippa gave me this one, and I reckon it’s great! It’s basically an arena where you fight through 25 waves of enemies, and you get experience when you complete missions.
The thing I don’t like about it, is the way you get no experience at all while in the arena.
