Dallas Mavericks win NBA finals,defeating Miami Heat!
What the fu k? Lebron phoning it in?

And is it wrong, to hope no one wins the Stanley Cup? (whiley fav player (Mark Recchi) plays for the Bruins, I still don’t want anyone to win (besides he won his cup at Carolina)

Well done Dallas – Dirk deserved the win, he fought hard all playoffs.

LeBron on the other hand… this was karma for:

  • Quitting in game 5 last year against the Celtics
  • Announcing he’s leaving Cleveland via a 1 hour egotistical ESPN special

When he arrived at Miami this year, and was asked how many championships he’d win:
“Not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6, not 7”

Go ‘Nucks!

I’ve been cheering for them since the Sabres got knocked out. Figure it’s about time a Canadian team won the Cup.

Game 7 will be tomorrow morning. Wonder if any pubs around here will be open that early. Who knows, maybe the NHL will get its once-yearly mention on the TV sports news.
