Star Wars Battlefront Open Beta October 8th

Electronic Arts announces beta testing of Star Wars Battlefront will take place between October 8th and October 12th, paving the way for the release of the Star Wars action game on November 17th. Earlier this month that the beta will begin next month, and just last week they announced this will be open to all applicants. Here’s word:

Get ready to be taken to a galaxy far, far away! Today, we are happy to reveal that the Star Wars™ Battlefront™ Beta will be available for PlayStation®4, Xbox One and on PC via Origin for players between October 8 and October 12. The Star Wars Battlefront Beta is a technical test and will give Rebels and Imperials alike just a small taste of the Star Wars™ battle fantasies you can expect to live out when the game launches on November 17.

One the the NBA lovers get your glitch on lolz

NBA Live 16 isn’t slated to launch until September 29, but a free demo is available now on PS4 and Xbox One. Players have quickly discovered that, like other EA Sports games before it, this one also has bugs—some of which are hilarious.

My favorite of the bugs, compiled on NeoGAF, would have to be this glitch where Kevin Love lines up for a free throw and then proceeds to shoot the ball at the hoop on the other side of the court. Watch it below.

There are a couple of games in particular these are ready for, as they say that these are the drivers gamers will want to use for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Avalanche’s Mad Max game, both of which are due for release tomorrow. The new release also includes new SLI profiles for Gu Jian Qi Tan Online, Rocket League, and World of Tanks. They also promise that they will deliver a Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain performance guide tomorrow.

Rocket League!

It’s soccer! But with cars! And rockets! And that’s about it! But it looks super amazing and has an INCREDIBLE response to it.

It’s pretty hard to describe what makes this fun except by simply pasting some videos, but definitely have a look:

and some more..

At $24NZD I’m a bit on the fence with it simply because I can’t justify spending that much on a video game right now but if there is enough interest in it I might go for it. Looks like it’d be a great one for the TV with a bunch of controllers as well!

Unfortunately no linux support sorry slacker, was thinking about you with this one too :(
