Revision of Strat for to night... will self destruct in 10 minutes from Thu, 28/02/2008 - 18:15

Hi Sha8dow.

This is the strat we chose for you tonight. I wrote it out last night.
Some of it was adapted in game but it was a guide to what i wanted players to do.
We lost the bridge too quick at times but then held up the outpost much better.
Thats because I concentrated on the outpost this match.
With 7 we also used the APC to spawn camp you on stage 3.

Anyway here it is for you to look at if you wish.
Cheers
Pinge

GDF Stage 1 (Build Bridge) All engineers build an AVT or APT to kill Icarus, FOp to throw Vampire strikes.
Tank stays near base clearing APT’s, APC drives to their side of bridge, does same from that side.

Bad luck IPX

I am sorry you didn’t take home the bacon…next time though…;-)

They have a decent side though so it was a tough ask.
Is for us 2 so I think we will be next.

Heh yeah they’re a good team. Their flyer lived up to your description of him.

Was just having another read of this strat today. Very nice strategy. Thanks again for sending it to us. It helps a lot to see how other teams are forming strategies.

From what I believe your

From what I believe your team is not so familiar with this game format.
The 6v6 format can be a real steep learning curve.
Its much harder than it looks.

Its not a fool proof strat by any stretch but is can serve as a base for developing one that suits your team.

I was happy to let you have a look at it as you said in earlier posts that you were looking at starting to develop your own.
This is what I pass out to every player plus the 2 reserves every match.
We walk it first then prac it with someone.

I try to get this to everyone 2 days before a match so that everyone knows it and there are no questions on the night.
that almost never happens though as some twit wont read the strat.

Anyway if it gives you any ideas and you can improve on it then it has been worth it.

Hope it does some good for you.

cheers
Pinge

6 on 6

6 on 6 is only good when you have ice under your feet and sticks on your hands….

when you got guns and alot of ground to cover… its all about numbers
