I belive

I believe Robag and Chuck should have 1st dibs on being in the team!
I played last game, and performed poorly. Suggest someone else plays instead of me

Availability

If it was me, I’d be picking Robag, n0mad, Chipper, Ltmon, Hashy and Chuck based on practice attendance. I’ll leave that to the captains though.

And as usual, I’m always happy to sit on the bench.

Can we all still make sure we fill out our availability. If you are available but want to sit on the bench please just put yes, and say bench stuff in the comments. The available columns should just be yes’s or no’s, with anything more than that fitting into the comment column.

Thanks

I take it that they are not an Australian Clan?

Are they any good, has any one played them before?

They're extreme.

Base on them taking on Angry Penguins.
I have to say, they’re really good.

Challenge accepted

Still waiting on some players filling in their availability.

Team we have

We can go with the team we currently have listed in the availability atm. would be nice if we got the full cut of every ones availability but as long as we have 6 players available to start with we are ok.

Bad luck guys. Hope everone

Bad luck guys. Hope everone had fun.

Yup.

Had fun :D I found out that our weakness is vehicles.

That hack objective held us

That hack objective held us up twice… i’m not sure we had enough of a plan for it.

HarassmentPanda's picture

We ceratinly didn't

Taking down a cyclops with only one rocket launcher sucks. If we don’t have a better handle on the titan and other counter measures we are going to keep being screwed by it.

Demos

Sounds like a fun game. Could we please upload our demos? I’d love to see them (and I’m sure some of the others would too).

HarassmentPanda's picture

For Sure

We spoke about it briefly on IRC after the match, not sure if any one created a drop box for them?

I suggest we add a little bit of structure to the reviews, is there some where private that we can post feedback for each other in the team? It would be good if we each reviewed one other players demo and provide the feedback, that way we can really get a whole closed loop process going.

Fuzz's picture

If you want to discuss

If you want to discuss anything private just click the access control tab on wherever u want to talk about it (assume the most logical place would be the challenge page itself) and set the appropriate view privileges (usual disclaimer for 1 applies). Note some content types don’t have access control, eg polls, so don’t try and do it there. If you need to discuss anything that needs more security than that, no we don’t have that.

If anyone doesn’t have access to do that, let me know and I can tweak the the general permissions to allow it for challenges.

not sure if any one created a drop box for them?

Dunno. I know I didn’t. Only takes a second for anyone to do.

an0ther 0pti0n

Drop Io does allow for comments when you click each of the Demo’s but I think it would be safer to have our comments on a singular page maybe a new page called IPX Demo Comments therefore all suggestions would be on 1 page.

Also big thanx t0 ltmon for his sub work
all0wed for me to play an0ther Match…..

My Dem0’s uploaded, Look for my excellent Grenade work :)

yeah but I can’t see

yeah but I can’t see anyone thinking to go there after they’ve uploaded their demo to actually see what others have said. That’s just me though.

HarassmentPanda's picture

Perhaps we should use a forum post for once? ;-)

Dono but maybe that is the place, after each match, post a new topic with the name, setup a drop point and then chuck the feedback in one place?

Can we secure forum posts the same way?

Hashy's picture

Switch em around, and you

Switch em around, and you got yourself a deal!!!!

Fuzz's picture

we could, but is there a

we could, but is there a reason why we wouldn’t just keep it on the same page as the challenge itself? We’d have 3 completely separate pages for a single game that someone would need to create – the challenge itself, the 3 stars poll, and a discussion about tactics for that game.

Dunno just seems like more work that won’t get done.

And yep can secure forum posts the same as challenges. The other option would be to create a content type “challenge tactics” and set the permissions on that to be “secure” by default. No real advantage to this as you’ve still got 3 pages for one challenge.

HarassmentPanda's picture

Good point

On the challenge page should be sweet & I guess it’s more appropriate since the feedback will relate to a demo, which will relate to a match. So the Entity Relationship Diagram is satisfied and no recursive joins required ;-)
