Smokin' Guns / Padman Fun Night - Friday 29 June at 8pm

Anyone keen on a casual fun night of pointing cursors and clicking mouses at each other?

If so let’s warm up a server and see if a prolonged absence from these two beloved games has resulted in us miraculously becoming good at them.

For those that are new to the games, both are free and run on pretty much anything.

Steam Link Android App Beta

Valve announces the release of the Steam Link beta for Android devices on Google Play. This offers a way to play your Steam games on your phone when you are connected to your home wifi network. They say iOS users are waiting for Apple’s approval of an iPhone version. Here’s word:
The Steam Link app for Android devices is now available, free of charge and in beta for users everywhere (download it here: https://store.steampowered.com/steamlink/about).

The Steam Link app allows gamers to experience their Steam library of games on their Android (phone, tablet, and TV) devices while connected to the same 5Ghz network or wired Ethernet as their Steam gaming computer (PC, Linux, Mac). Initially offered in beta, the Steam Link app for Android supports Android 5.0 and features support for the Steam Controller and other Bluetooth input devices.

Release date for the iOS version is pending further review with Apple.

As of March 31, 2018 we had 100,110 spinning hard drives. Of that number, there were 1,922 boot drives and 98,188 data drives. This review looks at the quarterly and lifetime statistics for the data drive models in operation in our data centers. We’ll also take a look at why we are collecting and reporting 10 new SMART attributes and take a sneak peek at some 8 TB Toshiba drives. Along the way, we’ll share observations and insights on the data presented and we look forward to you doing the same in the comments.

Mordhau

Mordhau is a multiplayer medieval fighting game where fights range from duels all the way to large, open battles of up to 64 players with horses, siege engines, and castles to be stormed. It features a skill-based free-flowing combat system that is easy to learn, but hard to master.
Offline mode.
Mordhau is primarily an online game, but you can play the game offline against bots with different personalities and difficulties.

I assume some of you would be interested in this game, currently, it is still in Steam Greenlight, meaning that hopefully it will be released by the end of the year or early next year.

John Cena Takes On The Role Of Duke Nukem In New Movie

The producers of a still-to-be-scripted Duke Nukem movie have confirmed that WWE superstar John Cena is attached to play the foul-mouthed superhero in the new film.

In an interview with Cinema Blend, producers Andrew Form and Brad Fuller make no bones about Cena taking on the role.

Yeah, that’s what we’re working with now. He is. Yes. We don’t have a script yet, so that is confirmed at this point but if he reads the script and he doesn’t like the script I’m sure there’s ways that he could pull out, but right now he’s our guy.
