Brink PC Update

General:
Fixed sound dropping out when playing networked games
Improved graphical performance, especially when using Ambient Occlusion
Fixed voice packs being reset to default when you delete another character
Removed ability to use certain cheat protected commands in challenges
Fixed memory leak/crash when alt-tabbed out

User Interface:
Full servers are no longer filtered out of the browser
Added support for entering a range of numbers (i.e. 10-12) in server filters
Reduced font size in the server browser
Exiting Head customization returns to the correct menu
Fixed being unable to bind KP_Enter in the UI
Increased font size of in-game text chat
‘Enter’ now closes text chat prompt if empty
Fixed challenge in menu flashing even after completion

Dedicated Servers:
Improved dedicated server CPU performance
Fixed NPC not spawning for escort objectives online on servers using unsupported cvars

Brink – An Update on Updates

Just wanted to give everyone an update on where we’re currently at with our upcoming game updates for Brink.

PC

A game update for the PC version of Brink is in final testing and we’re planning to release it early next week. This update contains a host of fixes and improvements including the following:
We’ve identified the cause of sound dropping out on certain maps when playing networked games for a prolonged amount of time. This will no longer occur.
Graphical performance has been improved, especially when using Ambient Occlusion. We’ve worked closely with both AMD and NVIDIA, and you should see performance and stability improvements in future driver revisions from both parties.
The server browser is tweaked in this update, as well; among other things, a new filter allows you to display only servers with a certain number of players on them, and full servers will no longer be filtered out completely.

Dirt 3 F@#K YEH!

I havnt posted much in a while so here my 2c worth.

Codemaster has revealed what seems to be some pretty fun multiplayer modes for the upcoming Dirt 3.
A new ‘Party Mode’ will contain three multiplayer scenarios; Invasion, Transporter and Outbreak.
In Invasion you will be fighting off a robot invasion, or cardboard cutouts of robots that you must run through whilst avoiding the cut-outs of city buildings.
Transporter is essentially capture-the-flag but with a twist; flags are placed at random locations, ensuing a scramble to their location.
Outbreak sounds a little outrageous; an “infected” car chases after other cars to infect, with the last remaining car declared the winner.

Dendy Premium Cinemas

In the spirit of reviews for team IPX by shad, I thought I’d conduct quick review while I’m here (atleast try before the movie starts.
Well normally, due to the kids have to do a quick 730 session at the local hoyts! however the young scholarship kid who I trained last year brought my wife and I a gift of 2 tickets to the subject cinemas
Never having been to this kinda place or even hearing about it we didn’t know what to exPect!
So here we are. Assured to a special area like a bar lounge, then to our seats. You can order dinner, special stuff, anything from the candy bar, and they bring to too you at your selected Time!
Fucken epic
There is a waiter call button, Only about 40 seats (sounds like lots but feels like your the only persOn in the room.
And the seats are like electric lay z boys! My wife said “fuck the mOvie, I’m getting desert and having a nap!” they are thAt comfortable! And theyve got upholders and hidy holes galore
