Hail to the king, baby! we all know what duke is and some of us have good memories of its multiplayer(when it isnt going out of sync) so lets try 8 player DM Games on the new steam version if its any good we might do more of these

Note: you might need to opt into public-beta for the multiplayer(if it isnt released by the 16th). duke3d isnt binary compatible with its saves so you should make sure to back those up before opting into the beta

Haloween Event: No more room in hell

steam version should be out oct 31st(if not we will do L4D2) its short notice but thought it might be a good game for haloween. its a free cross platform zombie survival game with up to 8 player coop. from what i can tell theres objective and wave based maps

Mumble Server Outages

Hi All

Both mumble servers are backup now sorry for the extended outage. That took both mumble servers out even though they are hosted at two different provides. this was due to Data center moves and Server restarts.

The primary mumble server is on-line mymumble.teamipx.net

Backup mumble server is on-line vps.teamipx.net

Torvalds: SteamOS will "really help" Linux on desktop

Linus Torvalds has welcomed the arrival of Valve’s Linux-based platform, SteamOS, and said it could boost Linux on desktops.

The Linux creator praised Valve’s “vision” and suggested its momentum would force other manufacturers to take Linux seriously – especially if game developers start to ditch Windows.

Wasn’t enormously difficult tbh and only had to restart once for day 1 and twice for day 3.

The Ship

Now I don’t know if anyone else has seen this game but I was wondering what everyone’s opinion of it is.

So you’re on a ship and around the ship you can find all sorts of weapons in the closets and hidey holes such as crow bars, pots, guns etc etc.

So while you’re running around looking for some nice weapons, you get given a target which is someone else on the ship and you use your weapons to take your target out. But of course, while you are doing this, someone else has you as a target as well. Your job is to take out your target before the round runs out. Another game mode is that when you kill someone, they stay out for the rest of the game and you get a new target. So there could be multiple people with you as a target.. Watch your back.

Don’t get spotted though! You’ll get sent to jail for a small amount of time which could be dangerous, as when you get released, your killer might be waiting for you…
