Site downtime - 5pm today

Why:

When: Requested hosting provider to attempt to do this this weekend while someone is here to update the settings and check it worked.
Duration: Hopefully only a few hours for DNS to update. Up to 24-48 hours.
Note: Check IRC subject line for updates once site is down.

UPDATE: Site back online – for most. If you still see “Site Offline” at the top of the page, it means your DNS hasn’t updated yet. Wait a little longer. However, for most this should be up to date now.

Earthen Civilizations: Multiple Choices.

To the issue of the planet, and its future.

We are aware of, to some degree, the effects and impacts that our civilization, and mere presence, has on the planet itself, and the ecological balance. The delicate balance between the life of the planet, and the breath of the planet, the atmosphere.
Right now the world is focused on this balance between us, the ecology, and the atmosphere. As it is, they are planning to continue things much as they have been, but to begin to collect funds to use to, progressively shift our industrial bases towards a cleaner and more sustainable output. Continue on doing what were doing basically, with the impact that we are making, while showing a token effort to address and solve the problem.

As I see it, we have “three” main courses of action which we must all undertake together in order to bring about its successful resolution.

Home Sweet Home

I am back home, no more bad connection I had great time in Melb but wouldn’t want to live there :D.

Sorry haven’t been around much, some days I was lucky to have internet at all others I had it for like 5 mintues unless I was at my brother’s house. My Mum is living in an extreme fire affected area and so the area is still being rebuilt and communications there are not the best, there are no landlines there at all yet.

But it was great seeing family I hadn’t seen for ten years and meeting nephews and nieces I had never met before.

I am now back home on my regular internet connection and all my buttons in the right place lol. Damn it’s hard using someone else’s PC set up when you have custom gaming set up at home and they have standard KBs and Mouses, reverting back to that is a mission to say the least when you are used to everything being in a certain place and you go to that place and they are not there.

Just watched Zombieland and i have to say it is the best movie this year by far.
So bloody funny it is a must watch for anyone with a sense of humor!!!!!!!!
