Australia vs. New Zealand

I propose that we have a fun little tournament. How about we set aside one day a week (whichever suits the majority) over the next few weeks to have an AUS players vs NZ players match. The winner of said game will gain 10 points for their team and an additional 5 points will be awarded to player of the match and 4 for noobie of the match regardless of if you are in the winning team or not. How the matches will be run will depend on the game.

Left4Dead 2 = we carry out a match of Versus on a mutually agreed upon campaign + each team plays one round of survival on a mutually agreed upon map with the winner holding the longest survival time.

ETQW = each team chooses a campaign and the winner of the most rounds wins. A knife battle will decide which side plays as strogg or GDF for the campaign.

BFBC2 = 4 rounds of squad rush, each team defending and attacking once on a map of their choosing

My temporary leave

Hey Guys,

As some of you will know, I left home and moved into my university hall today. I’m not sure how much time I’m going to have for gaming, at least not for now.

The other thing is that I only get 10GB / mo for internet. I have no idea how much I’ve been using as of late (I’ve been watching to an extent, and my guess is that I have just enough on 10GB). I might drop in now and then, but anything later than 11pm NZDT might be a bit late.

So I am taking a leave of absence until further notice. I still check emails, facebook, IRC, so feel free to chat now and then.

2012 PC GAMES LINE UP

Ok, so this is a broad list across a lot of different play styles. It might not be everyones cup of tea. But some of it I have been waiting a couple years to come out and seems they are all being released this year.

1. Guildwars 2
I wont go into much detail about this one, as I have already posted about it.

2. Max Payne 3
I know its a squeal, but I have been waiting years for them to make another one

3. Aliens: Colonial Marines
Im an epic fan of Aliens in general, so this game will get my juices going.

4. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
Needless to say, I think this one just speaks for itself.

5. Hawken
Its like an FPS Mechwarrior style game. If you havent heard of it, check it out.

Still not sure if I will get this.
The first one was good but i didn’t really like the movement or the way it fired.
I’m sure that there will be some in the team that cant wait for this(n0mad,MM)
