ETQW LADDER NEWS: Promod updates

Those wishing to play on the GA servers from now on need ETQWPro 0.7. They’ve just been updated to use this. Also, the stopwatch server now contains Commlink, ATW3 and Meltdown.

So: Upgrade to 0.7 and test on the GA Stopwatch server before Monday night.

I got bored and decided to kick off our season 3 run for the ET:QW cup. The ladder has been shuffled, so we get to challenge a few different teams (beware that Skullz and MaD Red are now below us…. so I’m challenging before they challenge us ;).

ADA have accepted for Monday@8pm, playing on Island. Please put your name in below if you’re able to attend. Those of you not in the GA ladder team make sure you read chipper’s comment and apply!

OK, we’ve now got a team ready to go. Unfortunately Fuzz_Logic isn’t eligible due to GA ladder rules, but if we’re short one we’ll play him anyway and see if anyone cares ;) I think I’ve talked to everyone individually, but can we have a practice tomorrow (Sunday) night @ 8pm for those who can make it on the IPX server. It’d be good to go through some Island strategies for a short while.

It’s currently daylight savings (GMT+11) in Victoria.

I’m not sure if any other states have this time at the moment, but can someone let me know if we are going to practice at 8pm or 9pm tonight (depending on where you live).

At least a few MaD players have the new custom map installed, so it’s game on tonight at 8pm. We’ll start on the IPX server with the custom map and move to a booked GA server I have reserved if there’s any issues.

Yes ET:QW maps are getting a little bit stale and I kn0w every0ne is sick 0f me saying “lets game 0n island” s0 we need t0 find sum new maps and h0pefully get Hashy back with us – Hashy have U f0und any night maps yet ?

Just a little piece of information about me, the new Fuzz in your fantastic little community. I am the head Australasian administrator for an American company called Gas Powered Games. You might know them as the company that made the awesome (but rather hardware demanding) game called Supreme Commander. I also run my own community website for one of the top clans called Australia United. Its not as nice as your website, but it is functional.

And finally my love for FPS goodness never dies and i have been an avid gamer for many years. ET:QW is quite a unique game and nothing beats the voip voice quality :)
