Attention Gaming Team - Manditory Practice Sessions

Morning all

This news is to advise, that after discussion and agreement with those organising and administering the IPX Gaming Team, IPX Traning Sessions are now on again!

It is expected that Training will be attended by all those nominated for the IPX Gaming Team, and also those enrolled in the current Alienware comp
Practice sessions are currently planned for 1 night a week (Tuesday nights), however we will create a POLL to determine what night is the most preferred by the majority.

Standard Prac session rules (no shooting till live etc) apply. Attempts to organise scrims for this night are welcomed

BOD/Team Admin will revive the Gaming/Prac Roster with the expectation it will be updated weekly

Mmm I dunno if I’d call it a merger?
This may be old news, but I only just got wind… I believe this impacts more then a few of us. Thought?

Internode and Agile will continue to operate as separate business units within the group, retaining their current staff and offices. The current management team, including founder Simon Hackett, are all continuing with the company group.

GON 2012 Most Wanted List

games.on.net have posted up their 2012 most wanted games list. Looks like a few alright ones on there to try. Gonna have to try Counter Strike: Global Offensive for sure myself. I reckon the founders might be pretty happy with the idea of Carmageddon: Reincarnation too.

I just don’t think I’m going to have the time or motivation to play them all, honestly a bit more concerned and busy with real life at the moment. But still, should be some gems on the way.

Science Edition - Rare "Moon" Rocks Found in Western Australia

Seems that there were a few samples of rocks found on the Moon that had not previously been found on Earth; Until now!

Tranquillityite is its name, after the Sea of Tranquility where humans first set foot upon the Moon.

It is interesting that they found it in WA, as Western Australia contains the oldest known parts of the Earths crust.

They will be working in conjunction to measure and map the Moons gravity fields, in order to gain a clearer picture as to what lies beneath the surface of the Moon. Apocalyptic Outdoor WLAN/ IPX Trex!

Mornin All,

So the year is finally upon us. Who’s up for a team camping trip later in the year? Not to be lazy, but I think that around my area somewhere would be most reasonable; it is halfway between the bulk of Team IPX, but I have not even scoped out a location yet, I would like to help with finding a place. If we gotta go to QUEENSLAND I wont mind one bit =p

Ok so setting up a wireless game in the middle of nowhere without a router to speak of is probably gonna be tricky to damn near impossible. Half the fun of camping is getting away from as much technology as you can anyway!

We will try and go somewhere with easy access; this is an online gaming team, and as a result, half of us are fat and the other half are on the rather lean side, so lugging a 15kg backpack 10km in and out of a site is out of the question for most of us.
